• Where: Invincible # 1
  • What: Well, it seems someone's an Anime/Manga fan because Shotaro Kaneda from Akira is walking around outside the savings and loan, probably making a bike payment.
  • Where: Invincible 9 & 23
  • What: The crew of Star Trek: The Next Generation makes an appearance to boldy go where no Gene Roddenberry property has gone before, the pages of Invincible (with appropriate parody precautions taken).
  • Where: Invincible 10
  • What: Ever want to buy your comics where Invincible buys his comics? Well you can, at least if you live in Utah you can. That's right Night Flight Comics is a real store. If you think that's just coincidence go there and ask how often Ryan Ottley defaces issues with his ilegible scribble (that means sign them). You Salt Lakers know what I'm talking about.

  • Where: Invincible 10 (for starters)
  • What: There have been a few different things written on this frig during Ryan's run. Most often it's "WYA" which is Ryan's nickname and how he oftened signs is artwork. Others not pictured include BMF and LOL. I would assume LOL means Laughing Out Load and that BMF means Bad Mother F@#$&* but I can't be sure.
  • Where: Invincible 27
  • What: The characters on the cave wall are japanese characters. What do these characters say? Well, it's something to the flavor of "Kirkman is stupid" or "Kirkman is an idiot". I don't read japanese (or speak it for that matter) but this is what Robert and Ryan have both said. Revenge has yet to be exacted.

  • What: As many of you know, Ryan Ottley is Mormon. The Work and the Glory is a popular Mormon historical fiction book. (It's also a series of movies now).
