You may know that comics are being pirated these days. That's right pirated! People scan them and make them available for anyone. What sick goons. Anyhow, to somewhat combat this, comic companies are providing some of the comics online (just like the music industry did and is doing). Image, being the forward thinking corporate entity that they are, has provided the first issue of several of their series online for FREE for you to read. Sweet, huh? Below are links to several Invincible relevant comics. Have fun on them and if you like it, buy it because it's the polite thing to do. If you'd like to check out everything they have there go to: Image Comics Online Comics

  • What: Invincible # 1
  • Who:
    • Writer: Robert Kirkman
    • Artist: Cory Walker
  • Why it's here: I would think that's obvious. But assuming you're slow or landed on this page by accident. This is the comic that started it all for Invincible (although technically not his first appearance). So stop reading about the comic and read it. It's ok, go ahead, I'll wait here. I promise...........Hey are you still reading this?
  • Noble Causes: First Impressions # 1
  • Who:
    • Writer: Jay Faerber
    • Artist: Billy Dallas Patton, Damon Hacker, Patrick Gleason, and John Wycough
  • Why it's here: With Invincible's multiple (multi-paul? I always forget the spelling) appearances in Noble Causes and vise versa, it seemed proper to give a sneak peak at Image Comic's first family of superheroes.
  • What: Noble Causes # 1
  • Who:
    • Writer: Jay Faerber
    • Artist: Patrick Gleason
  • Why it's here: Well this is here for the same reason as the above, only image comics has 2 Noble Causes issues online to read so why not read both.
  • What: Dynamo 5 #1
  • Who:
    • Writer: Jay Faerber
    • Artist: Mahmud A. Asrar
  • Why it's here: Invincible again has made a cameo or two in this book. Plus it's pretty good. I would read it....in fact, I do read it, so there.
  • What: Savage Dragon # 1
  • Who:
    • Writer/Artist: Erik Larsen
  • Why it's here: The Dragon, as he is often known, is sort of the Spider-man of the Image Universe superhero community so any new superhero worth their salt will eventually run into everyone's favorite green skinned Chicago resident. Invincible and the Dragon have hung out from time to time so check him out and see why the Dragon is how the kids say, Pimp Tough.
  • What: The Walking Dead # 1
  • Who:
    • Writer: Robert Kirkman
    • Artist: Tony Moore
  • Why it's here: Some of you got hooked on Invincible from Walking Dead and some of you got (or will get) hooked on Walking Dead from Invincible. The point is, if you fall in the cross section of comic fans, zombie fans, and kirky fans then you need to check this out despite the lack of conventional Invincible appearances (he's in the Walking Dead but the same as he is in the real world, a simple comic book character).
